Having over 15 years' experience in this industry ranging from teaching, managing, and being behind the chair, to witness the decades and style changes, A little retro, with big heart to make your vision come to life, I'm so happy to be part of the Tru Colors team and be welcomed in such a supportive community.
My Story
Hi everyone! From early on, we were a family that traveled and experienced different cultures and diverse cities and states. Something that was consistent was watching my grandmother cut our family and friends hair. That's where the passion stemmed from. I have 4 children. 2 girls and 2 boys, ranging 35 years old to 18! I have 13 wonderful grandchildren. Flash forward to the last 5 years. Teaching cutting techniques at a cosmetology school was inspiring, which also taught me more than I could have ever dreamed. The styles that have come and gone, the fads, the classics, this is what truly makes me RETRO and I love it. Being back behind the chair wasn't part of my plan, but plans change and it's been such a remarkable journey thus far.
